How to use Arca for payments on websites and apps

Two simple ways to pay with Arca on any website or app -- connect your wallet, or send to a payment address. Match the details, review, send.

Lots of websites and apps can work with Arca when it’s time to connect a wallet or make a payment. They handle their own product. Arca handles your wallet.

There are two ways this happens:

  1. The site or app asks to connect your wallet. This usually uses WalletConnect.
  2. The site or app shows you payment details. Usually an amount, a token, a network, and an address.

Either way, the trick is the same: match the details, review, send.

Connect your wallet

Tap Connect on the website or app and choose WalletConnect. You’ll see either a QR code or an “Open in wallet” button.

  • On a laptop, with Arca on your phone: open Arca, tap the scan icon, and point your camera at the QR code on the laptop screen.
  • On the same phone: tap the “Open in wallet” or deep-link button. It should switch to Arca.

Arca shows a review screen before connecting. If the site or app name looks right and you started this request, tap Approve. Otherwise tap Reject.

When the site or app asks for a payment after that, Arca shows another review screen with the amount, token, network, and destination. Approve only if everything matches what the site or app showed you.

Pay an address

Sometimes there’s no connect button. The site or app just shows you payment details:

DetailExample
Amount25.00
TokenUSDC
NetworkBase
Address0x1234...abcd

In Arca:

  1. Tap Send > Send to a wallet.
  2. Pick the same token and network the page showed.
  3. Paste or scan the address.
  4. Enter the exact amount.
  5. Review and send.

The token and network must match exactly. USDC on Base and USDC on Optimism are different paths — the site might only watch one of them.

Three things to check before sending

  • Token matches what the page showed.
  • Network matches.
  • Amount and address match.

If any one is off, go back and fix it. The review screen is your best protection.

If something goes wrong

  • Wrong site connected? Open Settings > Account > Connected Apps and tap Disconnect.
  • Sent to the wrong place? Open Activity in Arca, save the details, and contact the site or app’s support first — they manage the destination address and your order.

Payments sent to the wrong network or address are usually difficult to recover. That’s why Arca shows a full review screen before every send.
