Export your wallet key
Learn what Arca's private key export protects, how to export it safely, and what to check before deleting your account.

Your private key is the wallet’s master secret. Anyone who has it may be able to control the wallet and move its funds. Most people do not need to export it.
Warning: Never share your wallet key. Arca support—or anyone legitimately helping you—will never ask for it.
An export can provide an advanced backup, let you test access in a compatible wallet, or preserve a recovery option before deleting your Arca account. You do not need it just to change phones; normally you install Arca and sign in with the same method and account.
Export the key
Only export in private, with a safe place ready to store the key. Never export because someone in a message or support chat asks you to. Arca support will never ask for it.
- Go to Settings > Security > Keys & Recovery > Export key.
- Arca opens the export page in your browser. If asked, sign in with the same email, Google, or Apple account used for Arca.
- Read the warning, export the key, store it safely, and finish the flow.
If the secure export window does not open, retry from the page. Do not create extra copies in tabs, screenshots, or messages while troubleshooting.
Store it safely
Use a trusted password manager, encrypted storage you control, or a paper copy in a secure place. Do not keep the key in screenshots, unencrypted notes, email, chat, shared cloud storage, or a public device.
If someone else sees the key, assume the wallet may be unsafe and move the funds to a new wallet you control. Arca cannot cancel or replace an exposed key.
Test the backup before relying on it
Import the key only into a compatible wallet or recovery tool you trust. Confirm that it opens the expected address, shows the expected balances, and lets you use them.
Before testing or deleting your account, complete We’re updating your Arca wallet and any Finish updating your wallet recovery. Older balances may be under a previous wallet setup and may not appear automatically in another wallet. Finish wallet migration and fund recovery first.
Before deleting your account
Go to Settings > Security > Delete Account. Deletion removes the Arca login but does not move your balance. Move funds out, or export and test the key, before continuing. Without a working backup, funds left behind may become permanently inaccessible.
Exporting alone does not move funds or close the account. If you lose only the exported copy, your normal Arca sign-in is not automatically changed.
