Withdraw to your bank
How to move dollars out of Arca to your bank account through a verified partner, and what to expect on timing and limits.
When you want to get dollars out of Arca and into a bank account or a money app like Cashapp, use the Withdraw flow. It is the same Send button as wallet-to-wallet transfers, but with a different path behind the scenes.
Before you start
- You need enough balance to cover what you want to withdraw.
- The partner checkout may ask for identity or payout details before it can send money to your bank or money app.
Step 1: Open the Send menu
On the Wallet tab, tap Send. The small sheet appears with two options. Pick Withdraw to bank account. The description below that option reads: “Transfer dollars to your bank account, Cashapp etc.”
Step 2: Enter the amount
The Withdraw screen opens with a dollar amount field at the top. Type how much you want to withdraw. The app shows an error if the amount is larger than your balance.
Step 3: Pick what you receive
Tap the Receive in row in the card below to pick which fiat currency you want to receive. Arca shows the currencies supported by the partners available to you. Your country usually appears next to the currency name.
Step 4: Pick a partner
Arca uses partners to deliver dollars to bank accounts. You will see the partner’s name, logo, and fee. If more than one partner is available for your currency, tap the Sell with row to see them all and pick whichever offer works best.
If no partners are available for the selected currency, the app will say so and you can pick a different currency or come back later as more partners are added.
Step 5: Continue to the partner
Tap Continue to withdraw. Arca creates the order and opens the partner’s checkout in your phone’s browser.
On the partner’s site, you:
- Enter where the dollars should go (bank details, linked account, or your Cashapp, depending on the partner).
- Confirm the amount and the rate.
- Submit the withdrawal.
The partner handles the steps from here. You can close the browser window when you are done.
When the money arrives
Timing depends on the partner, the country, and the receiving bank. Typical ranges:
- Instant or within minutes for some supported bank networks and digital wallets.
- A few hours to a business day for slower destinations.
The partner tells you the expected time before you confirm. After the order is created, Arca refreshes Activity so you can track the order status from the app.
Tracking the withdrawal
Open the Activity tab and find the withdrawal entry. It is marked as an off-ramp order and shows the partner’s name and logo. Tap it to open the order details sheet, which includes the status and any tracking info the partner provides.
If something does not go through
- The partner declines the order. This is usually a compliance check. The partner will explain why and sometimes ask for a small extra confirmation.
- The bank rejects the deposit. Rare, but it happens if the account details are wrong or the bank has restrictions. The partner returns the funds to your Arca balance.
- The order is stuck. If the partner’s site says complete but your bank does not show the deposit yet, give it the timing they quoted, then contact the partner through their support link or Arca through the feedback form.
Tips
- Start with a smaller withdrawal the first time you use a new currency or partner.
- Double-check the bank details you enter on the partner’s site. These are outside Arca and cannot be undone once the partner accepts them.
- Keep the Activity entry open until the money is in your bank, so you have the order ID handy if you need to check in.
